1. Check in on email to me daily (Monday through Friday). This is participation points and a grade. It's your new bellwork! This is 100 points.
1. I expect you to read each day. To show me you have done this, I need a one sentence summary once a week about the best thing you read. Email me one sentence only once a week. I do not need a daily update. I know you are reading. Example: I read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling, and so far, Harry's name has been placed in the goblet, making him a contestant in the Tri-Wizard Tournament. Due April 11. 100 points
2. Complete the multiple choice answers for the passage on Baby Yoda Toys. I only need the letters of your response. Due by April 11. 100 points
3. Complete the Compound Sentence Practice on NoRedInk.com. Due by April 11. 100 points
4. Extended thinking project: create an advertisement for a toy you invent that would be a big seller during this time of staying at home. You do not need to actually create the toy, but create a full advertisement that creates: 1. excitement for the toy, 2. a description of the toy, and 3. a depiction of the toy. Feel free to use a PowerPoint slide or hand draw your creation. Use great sensory words and one piece of figurative language. Due by April 18. 200 points
5. Extra credit: offer to do a chore that you do not usually do. Look up or receive instructions how to properly do this chore and then write a paragraph (six to eight sentences) informing others how to do this chore. End with a sentence about how helping others made you feel (this can count in your sentence count). Due by April 11. 100 points of extra credit.
Feel free to e-mail or text work to Google Voice at 863-417-9369 at any time. If you e-mail or text in an assignment, it can also count as your daily attendance check in.
